Our programs range from integrated child care, to adaptive yoga classes, to a young adult volunteer program. In addition to being fun, our programs also lead to some great outcomes for our participants, such as increased independence and social skills, improved mental health and self-esteem, and reaching health and fitness goals. We firmly believe in supporting the well-being of the whole family by giving parents and primary caregivers respite from their caregiving duties.

The Moline League was organized in 1992 and followed in the footsteps of the Iowa Quad Cities and Galesburg area, who have their own leagues. We started with two teams and played our games on Sundays at various locations in Rock Island and at Stephens Park in Moline. The program has grown in the past few years and we now have six teams. We still play our games on Sunday afternoons, but at Riverside Park in Moline. Each child gets to play the entire game, fielding and batting, in an hour long game to their hearts content.

The inspiration for the Royal Ball Run for Autism organization stems from the now 1 in 59 children who are diagnosed with autism each year. We will be running to celebrate their achievements, their courage, and their future! Our goal is to increase awareness of autism and to support (and celebrate!) families and children touched by autism. Proceeds from the Royal Ball Run for Autism support local programs dedicated to autism treatment and awareness. In our first seven years, the Royal Ball Run for Autism has invested more than $200,000 in local autism programs thanks to the tremendous support of our participants, partners and sponsors. In addition to local autism programs, Royal Ball Run for Autism has developed The Royal Guide.

Surprisingly many families in the Quad Cities struggle with Trick-or-Treating for a huge array of reasons. As 2 moms whose children have struggled in years past, we want to bring an event where no one is judged, everyone gets to be included, and it doesn't cost the families anything, but their time. Therefore, with a gracious facility-use donation from the AEA and your help, we are able to off our Special Needs community a free, safe, non-scary, food-allergy safe, handicapped accessible, and of course SUPER FUN Halloween event.
